BeeSweeper offers a traditional Minesweeper experience with both classic and Hex variants, thoughtfully optimized for play on iPhone and iPad devices.

<li>The game employs a cursor-based approach rather than using touch gestures, which reduces the likelihood of accidental cell selections.</li>
<li>An optional "auto flags" feature assists players by automatically marking obvious mines, streamlining gameplay. This can be disabled for a more authentic classic experience.</li>
<li>The chording mode from the original Minesweeper is supported, allowing players to open multiple cells simultaneously by clicking on numbered cells with all adjacent mines flagged.</li>
<li>An "easy start" option ensures that the first move clears a safe area by automatically opening the initial cell with zero neighboring mines, providing a less frustrating beginning.</li>
</ul>

Furthermore, the game offers five different cell sizes and two field orientations, supporting a total of ten customizable field configurations—eliminating the need for zooming.

Designed with simplicity in mind, BeeSweeper features minimal graphics, sounds, and animations, resulting in a lightweight application that occupies minimal storage space on your device.
